The students of E class ( 10- 11 years old ) made christmas decorations with a special pasta of flour and salt.

Construction of Santa Claus (September – December 2015 )
Construction of Santa Claus. His body was divided in 25 sections.
The pupils draw numbers from 1 to 25 and they played the game of the countdown.
Class C ( 8 years )
We decorate the christmas PARCELS … using maths …..
We took a ruler and we starded to measure the parcel.
Then we measured the christmas paper and the ribbon and we calculated how many centimeters we need so we had to cut from the christmas paper and the ribbon. We tried to make the christmas gift.
In the end we did it with great success and smiles !!!!
Class F ( 11 years )
Construction of a Christmas tree with geometric shapes (September – December 2015 )
The children are working in groups.
They are constructing Christmas trees using geometrical shapes.
Lets we admire the wonderful results of their work ! ! !
Class C ( 8 years )
Traditional Christmas customs – Vassilopita ( September – December 2015 )
Children used maths and Christmas customs together.
First they share into 14 equal pieces VASILOPITA. Then they made calculations with fractions.
And after that the children enjoyed the cake !!!!
Vassilopita is the famous Greek New Year’s Cake.There is a coin into the Vasilopita.
The one who receives the coin is considered to be especially blessed for the year.
