Maths in the supermarket

Year 5 went to the supermarket. The manager suddenly had 50 extra staff! Soon they all were working in different departments : making meatballs in the butchery, using the scale as every meatballs weighs exactly 10 grams, putting chocolate on the croissants in the bakery, sorting out different kinds of fish . . .

Then every group had some math problems  to solve, therefore lots of things needed to be investigated throughout the shop.

Finally every group had 10 euro to spend on fruit : choosing, weighing and labeling and then, very exciting : scanning the items and paying at the cash register.
